Here's a fun trail camera video we captured in April 2023. This is a camera we had pointed at a predator exclosure. Predator exclosures are cages that prevent large predators from getting to the eggs of a nest, while allowing snowy plovers to run off and on their nests. There wasn't a nest in this exclosure, but we wanted to see if any predators were cuing in on the cage. Instead we caught this mockingbird having a meal on beach primrose petals.
